A graduate of the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Economic Sciences, specializing in informatics and economic cybernetics (1979) and of the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, postgraduate studies (1998), PhD in economic sciences (1988). From his graduation in 1979 until 2011, he was professionally associated with the Department of Economic Policy and Planning, and since 1989 with the Department of Finance and Banking at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw. A long-time lecturer in the postgraduate "Money and Banking" program. From 1990 to 1994, he was active in commercial banking structures. He served, among others, as the President of the Management Board of Bank Spółdzielczy Rzemiosła in Warsaw, and from 1993 to 1994, he co-organized the operations of Polski Bank Inwestycyjny S.A., where he held positions such as Director of the Credit and Business Entities Department and Vice-President of the Management Board (1997), responsible for retail banking.
From 1994 to 1997 – Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Ownership Transformations and Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of State Treasury, responsible for capital privatization, restructuring of state-owned enterprises and companies, utilization of aid funds, and the economic analysis division regarding State Treasury assets, as well as supervising companies with foreign capital participation. He collaborated with investors and privatization advisors, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Warsaw Stock Exchange. From 1997 to 2007 - President of the Energy Regulatory Office.
From 2007 to 2012 – President of the Management Board of Mostostal Zabrze Holding S.A (MZH S.A.), a public company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. From 1995 to 1997, he chaired the Supervisory Board of "Petrochemia Płock" S.A., and from 1996 to 1998, the Council of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. He participated in the work of the Supervisory Board of Powszechny Bank Kredytowy S.A. in Warsaw from 1995 to 1996. From 2007 to 2012, he supervised the work of several commercial law companies in the MZH S.A. Capital Group.
Currently, he conducts expert and advisory activities, being, among others, a consultant at the Center for Antitrust and Regulatory Studies at the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw and an advisor to the President of Employers of Poland. He is the author and co-author of several dozen articles and several scientific books on finance, economic policy, including energy regulation, and privatization.

A graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology and postgraduate studies in "Business and Management". Winner of many awards and distinctions, including EuroPOWER "Man of the Year", "Amber of the Polish Energy Sector", "Platinum Megawatt" - an award from the Polish Power Exchange, and "Optimus" - an award from Employers of Poland. He gained his knowledge and experience as an advisor, project manager, department director, and member of management and supervisory boards. For decades, he has been involved in the energy sector, in the generation and distribution subsectors. Since 2011, initially as Vice-President, and then as President of the Energy Regulatory Office. After finishing his term in mid-2019, he returned to advisory activities. He shares his unique experience gained at "Elektrownie Szczytowo-Pompowe" S.A (now PGE EO S.A), PGE Dystrybucja S.A., the design and engineering company Systra S.A., and as a regulator of the Polish energy market by conducting training and courses.

A graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the Higher School of Pedagogy in Szczecin. Associated with the Power Sector since 2003. Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Economy in the government of Prime Minister Marek Belka, supervising the energy, fuel, gas, and mining sectors. Member of the Management Boards of Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne and BOT Górnictwo i Energetyka. He also managed the work of supervisory boards related not only to the energy sector, including X NFI FOKSAL, and in the energy sector at Elektrownia Bełchatów, Elektrociepłownia Gorzów, and Elektrownia Wiatrowa Kamieńsk. Since 2009, he was a director and then the Management Board's plenipotentiary for energy at Orange Polska. Currently an expert at the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications in the area of cooperation with the energy sector.

PhD in Economics, lawyer. Lecturer at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw. From 2015-2023, chief economist and member of the Management Board of the Kalecki Foundation. From 2019-2023, director for legislation in The Left Parliamentary Club. Author of over 200 draft laws, including in the areas of economic and social affairs. Co-author of the analysis "Digital State. A Strategy for Poland", which contains the state of development of digital technologies in Poland, the European Union, and internationally, as well as specific tasks and goals for Poland in the digital area. Member of the Poznań branch of the Polish Economic Society. Member of the National Board of the New Left party. He comes from Rożnów in the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship.

By education, he is a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering, a graduate of the University of Agriculture in Krakow. Involved in social activities, from 2017-2023 he served as the president of the Forum of Young Populists. A graduate of the School for Political Leaders. Since 2019, spokesperson for the Polish People's Party.

Renata Mroczek is a law graduate from the Faculty of Law at the University of Łódź, where she also completed postgraduate studies in European funds.

She also completed postgraduate studies in management at the Poznań University of Economics and Business. She is certified as a Plenipotentiary for Integrated Management Systems in the areas of quality, environmental, and OHS management.

She is an expert in the field of broadly understood energy law and administrative proceedings, including administrative liability for violations of statutory obligations and license conditions.

At the Energy Regulatory Office since April 2017 as the director of the Central-Western Regional Branch in Łódź – the largest regional unit covering the Mazowieckie and Łódzkie voivodeships. There, she dealt with many issues in the area of heat, electricity (including energy storage and renewables), gaseous fuels, and liquid fuels.

As deputy chair of the Heating Team appointed by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office, she actively participated in preparing a range of solutions supporting investments and the transformation of the heating sector, including the development of a new regulatory model.

Previously, after a brief experience in banking, she was involved in healthcare for over a decade, most recently as deputy director of a multi-specialty hospital – one of the largest facilities in the Łódzkie Voivodeship, where she gained extensive competence in managing people and complex organizational structures, multi-million projects, and processes.

Selected for the position of Vice-President of the Energy Regulatory Office in an open competition and appointed on October 30, 2024, by the President of ERO, Rafał Gawin.

He has many years of experience in the gas industry, having been directly involved in creating the concept for the operation of the national natural gas transmission system operator in Poland since 2003.

From 2004-2008, Sławomir Hinc served as the financial director at PGNiG Przesył (now GAZ-SYSTEM). He was responsible for cooperation with the Energy Regulatory Office, negotiating the lease agreement for transmission assets, which were transferred as a dividend in kind from PGNiG to GAZ-SYSTEM. The new president of our company's management board also supervised the process of obtaining a gas transmission license for GAZ-SYSTEM. From 2006-2008, he served as the company's proxy. He is the author of its first transmission tariff. On behalf of GAZ-SYSTEM, he was responsible for the 2005 transfer of the Regional Transmission Divisions from the structures of PGNiG S.A. to GAZ-SYSTEM. From 2008 to 2013, he was the Vice-President for Finance at PGNiG. He was responsible, among other things, for the spin-off of the storage system operator (OSM) from PGNiG, the creation of the company currently operating under the name Gas Storage Poland, and the introduction of storage services to the market. From 2008 to 2014, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of EuRoPol GAZ. In 2010, he was appointed to the Governing Board of the European association of gas and oil companies, EUROGAS, in Brussels, where he served until 2015.

From 2013 to 2016, he served as the CEO and General Director of PGNiG Upstream Norway, where he was responsible, among other things, for the acquisition of PGNiG's shares in 4 fields, for which he received the Gullkronen Award for the best transaction on the Norwegian oil market. He also supervised the expansion of PGNiG's exploration activities in northern Norway, including obtaining exploration licenses for PGNiG in the Barents Sea. From 2019 to 2024, he was involved in the renewable energy industry, first as an advisor to the board and then as a member of the Supervisory Board of Helioexpert. Since 2019, he was the CEO and Managing Director of Green Genius – the Polish branch of the Lithuanian PV farm operator.

He holds a degree in economics from the Institute of Foreign Trade at the University of Gdańsk and a PhD in technical sciences from the Faculty of Environmental Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, specializing in tariff systems in gas transmission. He also studied at universities in Vienna and Berlin. He completed The Comprehensive Business Management Programme postgraduate studies organized by Central Connecticut State University. Lecturer in postgraduate studies at the Warsaw University of Technology and the AGH University of Science and Technology in the area of transport, tariffs, and regulation of the natural gas market. Author of numerous publications on tariffs and transport of natural gas.

A graduate of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, majoring in Mechanics and Machine Building with a specialization in innovative processes and management in the energy sector. He completed Postgraduate Managerial Studies in Enterprise Management at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, International Managerial and Marketing Studies at the Brno University of Technology, International Managerial and Financial Studies at the University of Economics in Katowice, and a Master of Business Administration at The Brennan School of Business of Dominican University, River Forest, Illinois, USA.

He has been involved with the energy sector for over 27 years. He has extensive experience in creating effective sales and marketing strategies and managing change. He is an expert in, among other things, designing and implementing new products and services, marketing campaigns, contact channels, and IT tools and systems. He has led and implemented numerous projects related to improving process efficiency.

Since January 2023, he has been serving as the Vice-President of the Management Board of Polenergia Sprzedaż sp. z o.o. From 2020-2022, he served as Vice-President of the Management Board of Polenergia Dystrybucja sp. z o.o. and simultaneously as a Member of the Management Board of Polenergia Sprzedaż sp. z o.o.

In his career, he has participated in the implementation of numerous business projects for various entities, including co-creating international holding groups, for entities in the energy and port industries, managed international teams, and participated in building strategies for multi-million business projects.
In addition to his extensive legal practice, his professional experience has allowed him to perfect his supervisory and management skills, including those related to managing complex teams. Sławomir Staszak has served on the management and supervisory boards of many companies and foundations, including the Supervisory Board of the Port of Gdynia Authority S.A.

PhD in technical sciences. A graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, specializing in power engineering. He also studied at the Cracow University of Economics, where he completed a Master of Business Administration degree. He completed his doctoral studies at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science and Electronics.

He has over twenty years of experience in the energy industry. He is responsible for asset management, investments in the distribution area, and the development and implementation of investments in the field of renewable energy sources. He has managerial experience in the areas of: network operator, network investment and development, innovation and new technologies, and relations with local government units. He also managed the work of the following areas: in-house development of RES projects, finance and controlling, corporate governance, and procurement.

A results-oriented manager with nearly 30 years of experience in the energy sector, gained in Polish and international corporations. Since July 15, 2024, she has been the President of the Management Board of PGNiG Obrót Detaliczny.

From 1994 to 2007, she was associated with PGNiG, where she held a number of management positions in the sales area. She participated in spinning off the retail company from PGNiG, which became PGNiG Obrót Detaliczny.

From 2007-2018, Member of the Management Board and Commercial Director of Veolia Energia Warszawa. From 2022-2023, Member of the Management Board of E.ON Polska Solutions. From October 2022 to July 14, 2024, President of the Management Board of Szczecińska Energetyka Cieplna. She has served on the Supervisory Boards of various companies in the energy sector, including Polskie Elektrownie Gazowe.

Zygmunt Artwik has many years of professional experience in the energy sector. He has served as a director and vice-president of power plants and engineering companies. In addition, he managed power plant construction projects in, among others, Kozienice, Połaniec, Pątnów and in Turkey. Jerzy Buzek – a Member of the European Parliament continuously since 2004. From 2009 to 2012, he served as President of the European Parliament, being the first and so far only president of this institution from Central and Eastern Europe. In the EP, he was the rapporteur for many important reports, including the amendment to the gas directive, the regulation on the security of gas supply, and the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. In 2016, the "Euractiv" portal ranked him in the "EurActor40" top three most influential people in European energy policy. Jan Chadam is a practitioner with many years of experience in managing enterprises and capital groups. From 2009-2015, he served as President of the Management Board of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A., and from 2015-2017 as President of the Management Board of Polskie LNG sp. z o.o. He was responsible for the implementation of the largest national infrastructure projects, including the strategic LNG terminal in Świnoujście along with the gas pipeline network. Jan Chadam is also the author of numerous publications on finance and management.

Anna has 17 years of experience in finance and banking, including extensive experience in structured finance.
Currently, on behalf of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Anna is responsible for the energy, public utilities, and natural resources sectors. Her responsibilities include structuring and executing EBRD financing, including project finance structures, public-private partnerships, and privatization.
Anna joined the EBRD in 2006 and has since led numerous financial projects in various sectors (including IT, transport, real estate) with a gradually increasing specialization in energy and infrastructure. These transactions included a wide range of complex debt, equity, and syndicated agreements. Before joining the EBRD, Anna worked as a Derivatives Risk Manager at Barclays Capital in London. Previously, she gained experience at AIB in Dublin, HVB in Munich, and the National Bank of Poland.
Anna holds a PhD in Economics from the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, a Master's degree in Finance from the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, and a CEMS Master's in International Management.

Piotr Ciepiela serves as the Head of Regulation & Public Affairs Poland at EDP Renewables, a foreign investor present on the Polish renewable energy market continuously since 2008. He is responsible for shaping relationships with public institutions and the regulatory environment in the renewable energy sector, conducting dialogue with public administration bodies and actively participating in the consultation processes of key regulations for the renewable energy sector in Poland.

His professional path includes over 10 years in the energy sector, leading from working in the Polish regulatory authority (Energy Regulatory Office – 1.5 years), through the international law firm Baker McKenzie (8 years), to his current position at a leading company in the renewable energy sector. He is a legal advisor with extensive experience in regulatory consulting, project development advisory, and transactions in the energy sector. His expertise in this area has been recognized five times by the prestigious legal ranking Legal500 (Poland – Energy and Natural Resources 2020-2024).

An official of the European Commission, an energy sector specialist. Since 2014, he has been in the Directorate-General for Energy, where he deals with the security of natural gas and electricity supply and the internal market. Advisor to the director responsible for the internal energy market, Klaus-Dieter Borchardt, on matters concerning the Russian Federation and the trilateral talks between the European Commission, Ukraine, and the Russian Federation. He is also responsible for internal market issues in the energy sector in Poland. He is currently working, among other things, on the amendment of the SoS Regulation 994/2010 concerning the supply of natural gas. From 2008 to 2014, he worked in the Directorate-General for Competition on cases concerning the abuse of dominant position in the energy sector, including Gazprom's practices in the markets of Central and Eastern Europe.
He is a graduate of the Łódź University of Technology, the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, and Postgraduate Studies at the College of Europe in Bruges.

She provides advisory services to Polish and foreign companies in the power sector. She specializes in identifying investment options, creating strategies, RES transactions, and CPPA agreements. She leads a team of advisors specializing exclusively in services related to the power industry.

PhD in technical sciences with a specialization in power engineering and energy management. He has been with the Energy Regulatory Office since 2004. He was appointed President of ERO by the Prime Minister on July 24, 2019.
He was, among others, a member of the working groups of the European Regulators' Group for Electricity and Gas (ERGEG) and the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER); a member of the Committee on Cross-Border Electricity Exchanges (EC) and a Commission expert in TAIEX programs (training for EU neighboring and candidate countries), as well as an expert at the Florence School of Regulation and twinning projects. He has represented ERO multiple times in international forums.
In 2013, he was a national expert at ACER in Ljubljana, where he participated, among other things, in the work on the Agency's report assessing national energy markets. He was also responsible for cooperation with national energy regulatory authorities.
In March 2021, he was elected Vice-Chair of the ACER Board of Regulators, which serves an advisory and consultative role to the Agency's director.

Łukasz Gola is a manager with many years of experience in the Polish and European energy sector. He joined Hitachi Europe in 2009, responsible for analysis and business development in the energy sector in the CEE region. For several years, he also collaborated with the Regional Corporate Center on building and implementing the Hitachi Group's development strategy in the region. Since 2014, he has been the Business Development Director for Energy Transmission and Distribution Solutions in Europe. The projects he has completed include some of the largest investment tasks in power generation in the region, as well as smart grid solutions recognized as the most innovative implementations in the energy sector. Łukasz holds a PhD in Economics from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and is a graduate of management courses at MIT, INSEAD, and IESE Business School.

Associated with the TAURON Group since 2000. At TAURON Dystrybucja, he was involved in the area of metering, then advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) and the energy market. He was responsible for the implementation of the AMIplus smart metering system in the city of Wrocław. This was the first large-scale implementation in an urban area in Poland. He served as Director for Smart Metering at TAURON Dystrybucja Pomiary, Director of the Distribution Services Sales Department at TAURON Dystrybucja, Executive Director for Business Continuity, IT and OT Management at TAURON Polska Energia S.A., responsible for IT (CIO), OT, business continuity, and operational management, including digital transformation issues. Currently, he serves as the President of the Management Board of TAURON Dystrybucja Pomiary and an Advisor to the Management Board for Smart Metering at TAURON Dystrybucja.

An expert in AMI smart metering, member of the Team for the introduction of smart metering in Poland at the Ministry of Climate and Environment. Co-author of the PTPiREE study – a feasibility study for the implementation of smart metering in Poland. Member of CIONET and ITAM Forum Polish Chapter. Member of the AI working group at the Ministry of Digital Affairs. He led the work of the team for the implementation of smart metering in Poland at PTPiREE, and was a member of the PTPiREE Team for IT/OT cybersecurity.

Mirosław Kowalik is a manager with extensive experience and knowledge of the Polish energy market. Since May 2021, he has been the President of Westinghouse in Poland, where he is responsible for the implementation of investments in the field of nuclear technologies, including the construction of the country's first nuclear power plant based on the safe and proven AP1000® technology.

He graduated in Informatics and Econometrics from the Cracow University of Economics and completed doctoral studies at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics in the field of Business Economics. He has been with SAP since 2014, responsible for cooperation with companies from the Energy and Natural Resources sector and industry associations in the Central and Eastern Europe region. Piotr Listwoń has 16 years’ experience in managing trading and clearing operations on commodity forward markets, the financial instruments market as well as for international transactions carried out as part of the market coupling of the European electricity markets. He has been associated with the TGE Group since 2008, where he was initially involved in efforts aimed at launching the operations the Warsaw Commodity Clearing House (IRGiT) and led the implementation of an advanced payment system in IRGiT. In the years 2013-2018 he was Director of Clearing and Settlement Department and Director of International Cooperation Development in IRGiT. At that time, he also represented the Company at the general meetings of EACH (European Association of CCP Clearing Houses). Between April 2018 and June 2024 he served as Vice-President of the Management Board of TGE, where he was responsible for the Exchange’s operations and product development. He supervised, among other things, the launch of the European Intraday Market (XBID) 24/7/365, the launch of forwards trading on the OTF and the implementation of a comprehensive liquidity improvement project. Between October 2023 and June 2024, in addition to the role of Vice-President of the Management Board of TGE, he served as Vice-President of the Management Board of IRGiT. Between December 2020 and August 2024 he also served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of InfoEngine, a subsidiary of the TGE Group. Paweł Urbańczyk has been associated with the UDT for over twenty years.
He was responsible for the implementation of strategic projects and investments in Poland's critical infrastructure, in which the UDT acts as an Inspection, Notified, and Certification Body. As a representative of the Notified Body UDT-CERT, he managed projects for the professional power and heating industries. He is also a lecturer at the UDT Academy.
In 2016, he obtained a PhD in technical sciences in the discipline of machine construction and operation at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science of the Częstochowa University of Technology. He is the author and co-author of articles on materials for the energy sector published in the national press, as well as a co-author of scientific and technical publications. Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Katowice Branch – Energy Commission.

Born on May 23, 1965, in Szczecin. He is a graduate of the Maria Skłodowska-Curie High School No. 1 in Szczecin and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Szczecin University of Technology. He also completed postgraduate studies in the organization and management of the tourism economy, as well as administrative and local government law.

From 1998 to 2001, he was the deputy mayor of Szczecin. He also served as a councilor of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship Sejmik in its 2nd, 4th, and 5th terms. Maciej Wyczesany is a manager with over 20 years of experience gained in industrial entities with both Polish and international capital. From 2009-2022, he served as Financial Director and Member of the Management Board at DOVISTA Polska Sp. z o.o., part of the Danish VKR group, which produces windows and doors and includes, among others, Velux. From 2006-2009, he served as CFO and chief accountant at Gunnebo Industries, a company in the construction industry belonging to a Swedish capital group. He was responsible for, among other things, merger and acquisition processes and investment processes related to increasing the company's value. He directly managed the areas of finance, controlling, HR, and IT. He carried out tasks related to the development and implementation of company strategies, team building, and organizational culture change processes.
